Our Story
Jessica Bradley Cowick founded Open Door Mental Health in 2024 after witnessing first hand the barriers to care the military population experienced. While partnering with other organizations to support Veterans, Jessica chose to create Open Door to serve the Florida Panhandle in a comprehensive manner.
How does it work?
Open Door Mental Health raises funds through fundraising and grants to pay for therapy services for military connected and those needing financial support, whether they have insurance or not. All providers are military connected, fully licensed, and effectively trained.
Once someone is ready for help, they can fill out our form requesting support. Once we screen the application, we will coordinate payment directly to the therapist.
